Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has revealed why he substituted Bruno Fernandes when the team needed a goal while trailing Forest because the player was feeling fatigued.
Bruno scored the equaliser for the Red Devils, who trail Forest 2-3 in the 61st minute, but was substitute in the 76th minute, as United lost at home by that scoreline.
On the substitution: “Bruno (Fernandes) is very tire and I would prefer (Mason) Mount to play as a second midfielder on the left.”
“Josh (Zirkzee) plays with Rasmus (Hojlund) to link up. (Leny) Yoro is out because we can’t let him play too much.”
“We brought Harry Maguire on because of set-pieces to control the guys who win the first ball all the time. The only way to attack Nottingham is to change the rhythm, to try to win the first ball and the second ball. When Harry is on the pitch, he wins the first ball all the time.”
Speaking about his difficult start to life at United, he said: “It wasn’t a surprise because we came in the middle of a lot of games.”
“It’s disappointing for the fans after so Promotion ufabet many disappointments. But we are here to work and will continue to do the same to improve the team.”
