Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said he was proud of his players for fighting but was disappoint with the result.

The Gunners drew 2-2 at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday night, leaving the Gunners with 44 points, six behind Liverpool.

“We were incredible, so proud of the way we played and the way we controlled the game, the flow of the team and the effort we put into the game,” the Spaniard told Ufabet Sport.

“We played three games in six days. I’m very เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง proud of the players but at the same time I’m disappoint. We deserved more. We don’t understand and regret what happened.

“It’s nowhere near the standard we want to be, it’s a fine line between the lines in the game because they (Aston Villa) kept pressing.

“The pace, the energy, the quality and the level of performance. It was the best performance we could have against Aston Villa because they are a very good team, but we need a result.” Arteta said.

Arsenal’s good work earlier in the game has undone during a chaotic eight minutes in the second half when the visiting side score twice.

It was the first time they fail to win a Premier League home game after leading by two goals or more since October 2019, when they were held 2-2 by Crystal Palace.
